Built-in country specific holidays
Active Desktop Calendar includes preset calendars with holidays for many countries around the world. For instructions on adding them to your calendar please visit this page. Additional calendars
This collection of calendar
files covering various public events consists of
contributions we received from the program's devoted users. See below
if you
need instructions for downloading and importing.
Download and import instructions
- To download, right click on the chosen file link, choose Save
Target As... option, select some folder on your hard drive and
click Save.
- Double click on Active Desktop Calendar's icon in the system
tray.
- Choose Import option from the Data menu.
- Select downloaded calendar file (it has .ADC extension), click
Open, choose Target Layer ("Import as new layer" is
recommended) and finally click Finish.
Notes:
- All files available for download from this page are in their
original form, i.e. exactly as sent in by their respective authors.
XemiComputers can not
take any responsibility for accuracy of their contents.
- You can download and import as many calendars as you want.
- Imported notes will not affect your existing notes.
- Unless you have chosen "Import as new layer" option
for importing, there is no other way to undo the import operation
than to delete imported
notes manually.
- Starting with version 7.1 the program comes with a lot of built-in preset calendars with holidays for different countries. Look for the Add Holidays option in the program's Data menu.
